An asymmetric silhouette

The Margarita is defined by its shape: a hand-blown frosted glass diffuser drawn into an asymmetric, curving form that leans like a sail caught in a breeze, seated on a brushed stainless steel base. It is a genuinely sculptural piece, no two hand-blown diffusers exactly alike, that reads as an object first and a lamp second. Lit, it casts a soft, omnidirectional glow that fills a table without a hint of glare.

The Engine

N1 or PRO, your choice

The Margarita is offered with a choice of two NEOZ engines. The N1 gives up to 55 hours of light on low from a 3.5 hour charge, in a lighter lamp that is compatible with the Cordless Lamp Lock. The PRO steps up to as much as 310 hours on low from an 8.5 hour charge, for venues that would rather recharge weekly than nightly. Both are fully user replaceable, and both offer the warm white and warm candle LED options.

The Margarita is in service in some of the most admired dining rooms in the world, from Bennelong within the Sydney Opera House to the island tables of Hamilton Island and the Sala Terrace at Banyan Tree Phuket. Rated IP64, it is dust-tight and resistant to splashing water, so it settles as easily onto an open-air terrace as it does an interior table. Like any electrical product, it is not intended to be submerged.

Your Margarita is made to move, which is exactly why operators asked us to help them keep it close. The Cordless Lamp Lock secures it to the table itself. A low-profile plate fixes discreetly to the surface, the lamp locks on with a single press, and a dedicated key releases it. No tools, no brackets, and nothing a guest would ever notice.

It lets you place cordless light where you could not before. Outdoor terraces, bar tops and street-facing tables can carry your Margarita with the confidence it will still be there tomorrow. The Cordless Lamp Lock is made from 75% post-consumer recycled polycarbonate.

Should I choose the N1 or PRO engine?

Both give the same warm light; the difference is running time and weight. The N1 runs up to 55 hours on low from a 3.5 hour charge, is lighter at 780g, and is compatible with the Cordless Lamp Lock. The PRO runs up to 310 hours on low from an 8.5 hour charge and weighs 1050g, which suits venues that would rather recharge weekly than nightly. Both are fully serviceable with user-replaceable batteries.

How is the Margarita different from the Little Margarita?

They share the same asymmetric, hand-blown frosted glass form and the same designers. The Margarita is the larger of the two, standing taller on its brushed stainless steel base, while the Little Margarita is a smaller, more compact version of the same silhouette. The choice comes down to the scale you want on the table.

Can the Margarita be used outdoors?

Yes. It carries an IP64 rating, meaning it is dust-tight and resistant to splashing water from any direction, which suits open-air dining, terraces and poolside settings. It is splash-resistant rather than waterproof, so like any electrical product it is not intended to be submerged.

What kind of light does the Margarita give?

It is omnidirectional, casting a soft, warm glow in every direction with no glare and no visible source, diffused through the hand-blown frosted glass. It comes with a warm white LED at 2600K as standard and an optional warm candle LED at 1800K. With the N1 engine, brightness is set by a touch of the base across three levels.

Is the Margarita serviceable and compatible with NEOZ charging and security systems?

Yes. Every major part is user replaceable, including the battery, light source and glass diffuser, and NEOZ offers repairs and servicing. It works with all NEOZ charging systems on either engine. When specified with the N1 engine, it is also compatible with the Cordless Lamp Lock, which applies to lamps whose serial number begins with L, for example LA1234.
