The Form

Soft edges, quiet presence

The Ice Round 85 is the rounded member of the Ice family: a smooth cylinder of frosted pressed glass with no corners and a gentle, organic profile. Where the Ice squares read as crisp architectural blocks, the Round 85 is softer and more candle-like, easing into curved and relaxed interiors as naturally as minimalist ones. It is also the lightest of the three Ice lamps, so it is the easiest to pick up and reposition through the evening.

Frosted glass, even in every direction

The diffuser is pressed from frosted glass, which spreads the light evenly across the whole surface for a warm, omnidirectional glow with no hotspot and no visible source. The rounded form wraps that glow smoothly all the way around, with no edges to interrupt it. Warm white at 2600K comes as standard, with an optional warm candle at 1800K for a lower, more flame-like tone, and brightness is set by a touch of the base across three levels.

Rated IP64, the Ice Round 85 is dust-tight and resistant to splashing water from any direction, so it moves easily from an indoor table out to a terrace or poolside. Its soft form and splash resistance make it equally at home in more intimate settings, from a bathroom vanity to a bedside table, where its candle-like glow feels right at home. Like any electrical product, it is not intended to be submerged.

Your Ronde de glace 85 is made to move, which is exactly why operators asked us to help them keep it close. The Cordless Lamp Lock secures it to the table itself. A low-profile plate fixes discreetly to the surface, the lamp locks on with a single press, and a dedicated key releases it. No tools, no brackets, and nothing a guest would ever notice.

It lets you place cordless light where you could not before. Outdoor terraces, bar tops and street-facing tables can carry your Ronde de glace 85 with the confidence it will still be there tomorrow. The Cordless Lamp Lock is made from 75% post-consumer recycled polycarbonate.

What makes the Ice Round 85 special?

The Ice Round 85 is the rounded, soft-edged member of NEOZ's minimalist Ice collection, a smooth cylinder of frosted pressed glass that glows softly in every direction. It is the most candle-like of the Ice lamps and the lightest of the three, which makes it as at home on an intimate table or a bathroom vanity as it is outdoors, thanks to its IP64 rating.

How is the Ice Round 85 different from the Ice Square 85 and Ice Square 100?

All three share the same frosted pressed glass and the same soft, omnidirectional glow. The Ice Round 85 has a soft, rounded profile with no edges, the most candle-like of the three. The Ice Square 85 is the same compact size but a crisp square column. The Ice Square 100 is the larger, more substantial square, suited to bigger tables and rooms. Which one suits you comes down to whether you prefer a round or square form, and the scale of the space.

Can the Ice Round 85 be used outdoors?

Yes. It carries an IP64 rating, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against splashing water from any direction, a higher level of protection than most cordless table lamps. It suits open-air dining, terraces and poolside settings, and that same splash resistance also makes it well suited to bathrooms. Like any electrical product, it is not intended to be submerged.

What kind of light does the Ice Round 85 give?

It is omnidirectional, casting a soft, even, warm glow across its whole surface rather than in a single direction, with no hotspot and no visible source. Its rounded form wraps the light smoothly all the way around. It comes with a warm white LED at 2600K as standard, and an optional warm candle LED at 1800K for a lower, flame-like tone.

Is the Ice Round 85 serviceable and compatible with NEOZ charging and security systems?

Yes. Every major part is user replaceable, including the battery, light source and glass diffuser, and NEOZ offers repairs and servicing. It works with all NEOZ charging systems, and it is compatible with the Cordless Lamp Lock, which applies to lamps whose serial number begins with L, for example LA1234.
