What is the Gem Square Polymer Opal?

It is the durable, everyday member of NEOZ's Gem family: a rectangular cordless lamp with an injection-moulded Plexiglas diffuser and a stainless steel NEOZ logo plate, casting a soft, omnidirectional glow. It is a discontinued design, now available while final stocks last, and remains fully backed by NEOZ.

Should I choose the N1 or PRO engine?

Both give the same warm light; the difference is running time and weight. The N1 runs up to 55 hours on low from a 3.5 hour charge, is lighter at 780g, and is compatible with the Cordless Lamp Lock. The PRO runs up to 310 hours on low from an 8.5 hour charge and weighs 1050g, which suits venues that would rather recharge weekly than nightly. Both are fully serviceable with user-replaceable batteries.

Can the Gem Square Polymer Opal be used outdoors?

It is rated IP64 with the N1 engine and IP52 with the PRO engine, so it is splash or drip resistant and suited to covered outdoor and indoor settings. It is not waterproof, and like any electrical product it is not intended to be submerged.

Is it still serviceable and under warranty even though it is discontinued?

Yes. Even as a discontinued design, it is covered by NEOZ's 5-year warranty, every major part is user replaceable including the battery, light source and diffuser, and NEOZ offers repairs and servicing. It also charges on all NEOZ charging systems.
