Corner Light: A Collaboration Between There’s Light and NEOZ

When London-based studio There’s Light imagined the Corner Light, it was with the same cinematic sensibility and rigorous design thinking that defines their work in hospitality and residential interiors. This limited-edition cordless table lamp, created in collaboration with NEOZ, distils that approach into an object of quiet presence—functional, sculptural, and made to endure.

The award-winning London lighting design studio has built its reputation on atmospheric schemes for hospitality, residential, and commercial interiors—fusing technical precision with cinematic mood.

Now, in collaboration with NEOZ, the studio has translated that design language into its first-ever product launch. The result is the Corner Light: a premium cordless table lamp that captures their commitment to sustainable materials, emotive light, and enduring character.

A Cordless Table Lamp With Bold Character

The Corner Light traces its origins to Tate Modern’s Corner Bar, where Fabio A P Cristini and Darran Prior created a scheme inspired by 1970s streetlights, the London cityscape, and the atmospheric mood of Blade Runner. That project became a proving ground for ideas—bespoke luminaires, theoretical principles, and a play of light that extended naturally into this collaboration with NEOZ.

As Fabio explains, “Corner Light marks the last piece of the Corner Bar project for our studio, completing the nighttime mood with the needed intimacy that a beautiful, warm glow from a table light brings.”

The Corner Light pairs a hand-blown glass diffuser with an aged brass base, finished to develop its own patina over time. Compact and rechargeable, it moves easily between settings, equally suited to high-end hospitality environments or private residences. What defines it is not just utility but atmosphere—the ability to soften edges, shift mood, and create a moment of pause.

Launching at London Design Festival 2025

The Corner Light makes its debut during the London Design Festival 2025, one of the world’s leading annual celebrations of design and creativity. On September 17, Tate Modern’s Corner Bar will host the official launch, with public viewings taking place from September 18 to 21. Housed in a former power station on London’s South Bank, Tate Modern is among the most visited museums of modern and contemporary art globally. Corner Bar sits within this cultural landmark, overlooking the Thames, making it a fitting stage for a collaboration that blends design innovation with cultural resonance.

Limited Edition Collector’s Table Lamp

To celebrate the launch, a limited run of just 60 collector’s edition Corner Lights will be produced. Each unit will be available to purchase online throughout the festival and beyond, giving collectors and design enthusiasts the rare opportunity to own the debut product from There’s Light in partnership with NEOZ.
